Registration & First Steps

Learn how to register for Insurgent Ink and set up your account for the first time.

Invite-Only Access

Insurgent Ink is an invite-only platform. Access is restricted to ensure quality and security.

To register, you'll need an invite code provided by an existing member or platform administrator.

How to Get an Invite Code

  • • Contact an existing member
  • • Request access from platform administrators
  • • Existing members with appropriate permissions can generate invite codes

Registration Process

Go to Registration Page

Navigate to the registration page and click "Join" to begin the process.

Enter Your Details

Fill in the registration form with your information:

  • Username: Choose a unique username
  • Email: Your email address
  • Password: Create a strong password
  • Display Name: Your preferred display name
  • Invite Code: The code provided by your organisation

Account Verification

Your account will be automatically verified for development. In production, you may need to verify your email.

Note

Email verification is currently disabled in development mode. Users are automatically verified upon registration.

First Login

After registration, you'll be automatically logged in and redirected to your dashboard.

You can always access your account later at the login page.

Understanding User Roles

Your role determines what actions you can perform in Insurgent Ink:

Translator

Can upload documents, create translations, and collaborate with others

Reviewer

Can review and approve translations in addition to translator permissions

Admin

Full access including user management, system settings, and invite code generation
