Upload Methods

Insurgent Ink supports multiple ways to upload your documents:

Drag & Drop

Simply drag files from your computer to the upload area. This is the fastest method for single files.

Click the upload button to open your file browser and select documents from your computer.

Step-by-Step Upload Process

Navigate to Documents

Go to the Documents section from the main navigation menu.

Dashboard → Documents → Upload

Select Your File

Choose the document you want to upload. Make sure it's in a supported format.

Supported: PDF, DOCX, TXT, EPUB, ODT

Add Document Details

Provide a title and description for your document to help with organisation.

Upload & Process

Click upload and wait for the document to be processed. Large documents are automatically segmented for optimal translation performance.

File Requirements

Supported Formats

  • PDF: Portable Document Format
  • DOCX: Microsoft Word documents
  • TXT: Plain text files
  • EPUB: Electronic publication format
  • ODT: OpenDocument Text

File Limits

  • • Maximum file size: 50MB
  • • Maximum pages: 500 per document
  • • Text files: UTF-8 encoding preferred
  • • PDFs: Text-based or OCR-ready

Common Upload Issues

File Too Large

If your file exceeds the size limit, try compressing the PDF or splitting large documents into smaller sections.

Unsupported Format

Convert your document to a supported format. Many online converters can help with this.

Upload Failed

Check your internet connection and try again. If the problem persists, contact support.
